The Celtics: The NBA's Mountain
There are two kinds of teams in the Eastern Conference. There are the Boston Celtics, and then there's everyone else.
The Celtics are the best basketball team in the world right now. They won the championship last year and have a group of players that work together better than almost any team we've seen in a long time. Every team in the East wants to be like

the Celtics, but there can only be one.
So, what do the other teams do? They try to beat the Celtics. Some teams think they can do it next year, like the Knicks, 76ers, and Bucks. Other teams think they have to wait a few years, when the Celtics' star players, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown,

might not be as young and their team might look different.
But no matter what, everyone knows that the Celtics are the team to beat. They are really good now, and they will probably be really good for a long time. Any team that wants to be the best in the East has to figure out how to beat the Celtics.

That's why when we look at how well each team did this offseason, we're going to see how ready they are to take on the Celtics. Let's see how all the teams in the East stack up.
